Chloe and I went to the bookstore to get libros for our lit classes together. Don Quijote & Salman Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children.

Today was the first day of actual UB-facilitated classes, and resultingly, the first day of Contemporary British Fiction. The teacher, Dolors Ortega (every ounce of my being wants to follow “Dolores” with “Umbridge”). She is easily my favorite teacher so far and am excited for the class, hence the already-purchased textbook. Glad to have found Alibri, the bookstore on Balmes, where Chloe and I can get our literary fix when necessary.

If I ever really get the urge to read this poetic piece, at least I know where to go. Maybe Feb 14??
